patterns available for purchase separately. Don't see the class you
want? Get a group of 4 or more together and we are happy to
arrange a special class for you if possible. Please review our
class
policies at the
end of our class listings to answer your questions. As a
courtesy to our instructors, please be sure of your schedule when
you register for classes.

Mark your Calendars!
The Buggy Barn is coming to Cozad
October 10th-12th, 2008!
We are pleased to be
hosting Janet Nesbitt and Pam Soliday from the Buggy
Barn Quilt Shop in Reardon, Washington, as our
featured teachers for the 2008 retreat. Janet and Pam
are famous for their popular “Crazy” technique using
freezer paper patterns and a stack of fat quarters to
slice, shuffle and sew. You’ll most likely recognize
their popular line of books including Certifiably
Crazy, Crazy Among Friends, and Crazy Snow Days to
name just a few.
You
might also have seen the Buggy Barn featured as a Top
20 shop in Quilt Sampler’s “Best of the Best”
edition. Their shop is well known for its yearly
outdoor quilt show. This will be the first time that
the Buggy Barn gals have been to Nebraska. Let’s show
them some good old Husker Hospitality!
Crazy Camp
Class: Friday and Saturday's classes sessions are
both now full. We have added a Sunday Session to
accommodate the continued interest. Register now to
reserve your spot in Sunday's class. You may also add
your name to a waiting list for Friday or Saturday.
We will notify you of cancellations.
“Crazy Camp” with Pam Soliday and Janet Nesbitt of The
Buggy Barn
Sunday, October 12th, 10:00-4:00 p.m.
Learn the famous
“Buggy Barn Crazy” technique using freezer paper
patterns and a stack of fat quarters to slice,
shuffle and sew. Choose any Buggy Barn Crazy book
or pattern to work from. You’ll learn the basic
technique then dive into your project. Prairie
Point Junction will have kits available of several
Buggy Barn Barns to choose from if you prefer.
Book/Pattern/Fabrics are NOT included in class
fee. (The same class is offered Friday,
Saturday, or Sunday - Register for only one
session).
Want to come out
Saturday after 5:00 and work on your own project?
Add the Sat Supper and BYOP option, you’ll set up
your machine in the classroom, join us for supper at
5:30, sew on your own, then be ready to go for
Sunday’s class.
Bring Your Own
Projects: At this time, the bring your own project
sessions are full, unless you are registering for
the Sunday Crazy Camp Class option as well.
Buggy Barn Trunk Show:
Friday, October 10th, 6:00 p.m. at
Camp Comeca. Janet and Pam will share their
favorite quilts, plus a preview of their newest
books and fabric lines. Supper is included in
your $20.00 registration fee. Spaces will be
limited, we encourage you to reserve your space
now. (Registrations are non-refundable, but can
be transferred to a friend).
Purchase TRUNK SHOW TICKET
Register early to reserve your spot! We expect the
classes to fill quickly.

We invite you to join us for the
following classes. Your sure to learn something new while
meeting new quilters who share your interests.
Pre-registration is required for all classes. Register early
to reserve your spot. Supplies need to be purchased prior to
class. See our complete policies at the bottom of this
page.

Class
Policies & Skill Level Suggestions:
Beginner
1: No previous quilting experience needed.
Beginner
2: Familiar with rotary cutting & basic piecing
skills.
Intermediate: Comfortable with basics, ready for a
challenge.
Pre-registration and payment of class fees is
required to secure your place in class. Phone registrations
hold spot for 48 hours.
Registrations cancelled more than 7
days before class will receive store credit for class fees. After
this time, no credit can be given.
Sewing machine in good
working order required for most classes.
Many classes have a
minimum registration. You may want to wait to purchase
supplies until the class fills. Your support in buying class
supplies here is appreciated to help keep class fees low. We offer a
10% discount on supplies purchased for class. Due to copyright laws,
each student in class must purchase their own copy of the book or
pattern used. Classes are designed to teach skills for a particular
project.
Time and individual sewing differences usually
don't allow for finishing a project in class.
Finishing
techniques are not addressed unless otherwise noted.
