Announcing Clubs and Block of the Month Programs for 2008

 

Commemorate Prairie Point Junction’s 10th Anniversary all year long with a monthly program.  We offer a variety of programs to suit your time, taste, and budget.

Saturday Sampler 2008   “A Sampling of Fall”   This original design by Julie Geiger at Prairie Point Junction celebrates the bounty of fall.  Eighteen different block designs offer a sampling of techniques.  Patterns for this project will be distributed monthly over the course of the year.  Some months you will work on one large block, other months two smaller blocks.  This project is fat quarter friendly.  Purchase a coordinated set of fat quarters, or choose your own.  Finished Size:  72" x 84"  (Twin)   Saturday Sampler Session:  Join us the 1st Saturday of each month at 9:00 a.m. starting January 5th.  We will demo a technique to make the designated block. Earn $1.00 in “FBI” Bucks (Finished Block Incentive) when you attend the program with the previous month’s block complete.   Patterns:  $24.00.  Patterns will be distributed monthly.  Includes invitation to attend Saturday Sampler Sessions.   Download Registration Form HERE.

 

 

Saturday Sampler 2008   “Pieces of the Prairie”   Sample a variety of Prairie inspired blocks in this original design by Julie Geiger at Prairie Point Junction.  The quilt includes twelve 12” sampler blocks.  Finished Size: 70" x 87" (Twin) as shown.  Other sizes can be made with additional blocks.   Saturday Sampler Session:  Join us the 1st Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. starting January 5th.  We will demo a tool or technique for making the designated block.   Patterns:  $12.00.   Patterns will be distributed monthly.  Includes invitation to attend Saturday Sampler Sessions.   Kits: *Purchase 1 1/4 yards of your choice of background fabric.  *Block Kit:  $27.00  (Includes 12 coordinated fat quarters for the blocks) *Finishing kits will also be available.  Prefer to select your own fabrics?  Simply choose 12 of your favorite fat quarters.   2 Colorways Available:  (Fabric will be predominately from each collection listed.  Due to fabric availability we may occasionally need to substitute from another line.)   *Kansas Troubles by Lynne Hagmeier for Moda  *Shangri La by Three Sisters for Moda    Download Registration Form HERE.
