From Interstate 80: Take Cozad Exit (222). Head north into town. Follow overpass to arrive at the 1st stop sign (8th Street). Turn west (left). Prairie Point Junction is just 1 1/2 blocks down the street on the north (right).

From Highway 30: Turn north on Meridian. Proceed two blocks to 8th street. Turn east (right). Prairie Point Junction is 1/2 block down the street on the north (left).

Located in Cozad, we are just minutes off Interstate 80, in the central part of Nebraska. Cozad's location on the 100^th Meridian makes it nearly the geographic center - east to west - of the United States. Cozad is a rural community with a population of approximately 4,500. Our downtown boasts a variety of unique shopping experiences that you are sure to enjoy.

Prairie Point Junction was established in September of 1998. Since that time we've grown by leaps and bounds. We're honored to have been featured as a Top 10 Shop in the Fall 2005 issue of American Patchwork and Quilting's Quilt Sampler Magazine.

We're sure you'll find plenty of inspiration to start a new project - or just the right fabric to complete that project-in-progress. We stock over 3000 bolts of 100% cotton fabrics, plus tons of books, patterns, and notions. Our favorite fabric manufacturers include Moda, Marcus, Henry Glass, Kaufman, P & B Textiles, and Benartex, just to name a few. We especially love fabrics from Anka's Treasures, The Buggy Barn, Kansas Troubles, Camille Roskelley, Deb Strain, Minick and Simpson, and Art to Heart.

You'll find a wide selection of fabric styles from dark country colors to modern brights and everything in between displayed throughout the shop on traditional shelves as well as in unique displays. Our fabrics can be found nestled among an antique goat cart, old wheel barrow, or a bench fashioned from an iron bed. Arranging creative displays in one of our favorite things to do - and one of the things we are complimented the most about. A multitude of samples hung throughout the store makes our shop a fantastic point of inspiration.

Can't decide which fabrics to pick for your next project? Let our helpful staff assist you. Picking out fabric is one of our favorite parts of the whole quilt making process. With a selection of over 2000 bolts, you're sure to find the right combination. Do you prefer to have all the guess-work done for you? Pick up one of our many kits and the fabric selection process will be done for you! Even better, you can see a sample on display to know exactly how your project will look.

Wanting to get a jump-start on season sewing? We carry a selection of seasonal fabrics year-round. No matter the time of the year, you'll be able to find fabrics for Christmas, Winter, Fall, and Spring projects too.

Our selection of children's fabric will make it easy for you to select a project for the special young person in your life whether the style is pastels for a new addition to the family or brights for your favorite toddler.

New to quilting, or just looking for a quick and easy project? We carry a large selection of pre-cut fabrics including charm packs, jelly rolls, layers cakes and more.

You also find a complete line of notions, books, and patterns for all your quilting needs. We're one of the few places in our area to stock the full line of DMC embroidery floss.

Wool Felt continues to be a popular trend in our shop, with an entire area dedication to Wool Felt Central. We currently stock over 90 colors of this innovative wool blend product. A wide selection of 100% wool plaids and textures are also available to add additional interest to your project.

In addition to our great product selection, we have lots of fun here too! Join us for a variety of clubs and events. A yearly favorite is our Quilting on the Prairie Retreat - a weekend long adventure full of trunk shows, classes, sewing and fantastic food. We are also proud sponsors of Quilts Around the Block.
